ONE MILLION POTS RECYCLED

Mitre 10 has recycled one million plant and seedling pots since it collaborated with Zealandia Horticulture to introduce its Pot Recycle initiative in February. That equates to about 19 tonnes of plastic diverted from landfills thanks to Mitre 10’s sustainability-minded, garden-loving customers. Mitre 10’s sustainability manager Julie Roberts thanks every customer and team member who has contributed to the programme: “It shows just what can be achieved by working towards a shared sustainability goal.” mitre10.co.nz
