Your Christmas playlist sing-along

Christmas can be a time of joy as well as conflict as I know only too well. My partner and I are on opposing sides when it comes to celebrating. I love the traditions, decorating the tree, the seasonal songs and a good Christmas movie. Planning thoughtful gifts for loved ones also brings me great satisfaction.

He’s a self-confessed grinch who’s “bah, humbug” throughout. Over the years, though, we’re found middle ground. On alternate years we each get to choose how we celebrate together. It’s his turn this year!

In this issue we chat to the gorgeous Sonia Gray about her documentary Kids Wired Di erently and how she celebrates Christmas.

Like Sonia’s, my family crowded around the piano to sing carols when I was a child, which is probably why I love Christmas carols so much!
