Measuring NZ’s apparel indust

mindfulfashion.co.nz More than 20 Mindful Fashion businesses are participating in Stage 1 of the recently launched Mindful Fashion New Zealand Climate Action Programme, an initiative designed to catalyse action and support the local industry on its decarbonisation journey. The programme has been designed to provide fashion businesses with the knowledge to help them manage and reduce their carbon emissions, tackling the textiles industry’s issue of being one of the main global contributors towards escalating climate change. Findings from this stage will feed into a climate action roadmap that will outline the path towards meeting longer-term goals for the industry including emissions generated both upstream and downstream in the supply chain.
