Sam Parish

Sam was crazy enough to train as a chef while also studying for a bachelor’s degree in media, writing and anthropology. She has worked as a chef, consultant, recipe developer, food editor, writer, food stylist, podcaster and TV and video producer. Sam is known for recipes that work, that are complex in flavour and simple in execution. Turn to page 84 for some her of delicious recipes from her new book Cook Me!

Nataylia Butler

Nataylia is an aspiring writer, currently on her way to completing her studies in journalism and criminology at AUT. She’s a lover of many things including books, animals, art and photography. Her passion for storytelling blossomed from a young age, writing plays and stories throughout her time in school. Coming from Australia and living in the binds of Auckland for most her life, Nataylia wants to eventually break out and travel the world with her partner.

Tonia Shuttleworth

With a Bachelor of Design and 18 years in the creative industry in the UK and Aotearoa, Tonia always brings something fresh and inspiring to a project, whether working exclusively as a photographer or stylist, or expanding her skills and combining this with art direction and design. Tonia is the director of independent publishing house, Koa Press, where she photographed Sam Parish’s cookbook, Cook Me! (recipes on page 84).
