Recipe for a double layer mango and turmeric smoothie with wow factor.

Mango & Turmeric Double layered Smoothie

It’s easy to make wow-looking smoothies. Just follow these simple steps and serve these up for a treat. I buy mango in pieces in the freezer section of my local supermarket. It saves time and escapes some of the mess! I’m all about making things easy where I can. This smoothie reminds me of being on holiday in the tropics. Bliss! Serves 2

1 frozen banana (skin removed)

1 cup frozen mango pieces

½ cup raw cauliflower florets 1 generous tablespoon mānuka honey 1 cup oat milk

½ cup high-protein yoghurt ½ teaspoon turmeric

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon mānuka honey

Put the banana, mango, cauliflower, first measure of mānuka honey and oat milk into a blender and whizz to an icecream-like consistency.

Put half the mixture in a bowl and add the yoghurt. Combine to make the lighter layer.

Add the turmeric, cinnamon and extra honey to the remaining mango mixture in the blender and blitz to make the darker layer.

Take two glasses and pour the darker layer in the bottom of the glass and the lighter layer in the top of each glass. This looks amazing with the two layers and tastes pretty amazing too!
